Organic Cashews
Fruit of a Brazil’s native tree, cashew nut has been used by Brazilian indians as medication and food, and they also use it to prepare a very delicious wine – the “cauim”. Later, the tree was transplanted to India and Africa.
Cashew nut has a caloric high level and it’s proteins are rich on essential amino acid (and calcium, iron, potassium, zinc, sodium, phosphorus, carbohydrate, non-saturated fat, magnesium, lipids, fibres etc.). When roasted and salted it is a perfect snack to be served on cocktails.
From cashew nuts is extracted an oil which substitutes olive oil, and it is a row material to synthesize a substance used against leukemia. Our cashew nuts are organically grown and strict rules are followed at all times according to its Soil Association standards.
